The kind of questions in that are asked under Economics section in G.S. paper, are quite analytical so they require quite extensive preparation...
It would not be possible for me to give detail of specific chapters from dutt and Sundaram...But u please refer the core sectors from that book...
also refer to the notes of Vaji Ram and also Sriram..they might supplement to ur preparation...
once u have thoroughly prepared any topic then also look for the questions that have been asked in G.S. paper & also in Economics mains paper of Civil Services, Indian Economic service Exam on that topic...this will broaden ur perspective about a topic and it will help in shaping the rough edges in ur preparation....

See its up to you to join coaching for Chemistry or not...it depends on ur level of preparation....see it is not something compulsory to join coaching for subject....any way coaching just enforces some discipline....in science subjects you will have to put lot of efforts even after u join coaching...i have also uploaded my notes on my blog so u may get benefited from there......so all the best for preparation....
