Hi Abhijeet,

I am appearing for CSE 2011
Plz clear my query regarding economics. . I have visited several blogs for guidance but still disappointed. .

my doubt is regarding dutt and sundaram. .

it is clear that this book is not to be read from cover to cover. Plz tell me the important topics or chapters (preferably chapter titles) which are to be studied from this book. .

My strategy for economics:

NCERT Class XI and XII books
Economic survey. .
PD economics. .
IC Dhingra
Dutt and Sundaram. .

Is this combination enough or anything else is required ?

Please tell me the topics to be studied from Last book. .

Hi Mayuresh,
The kind of questions in that are asked under Economics section in G.S. paper, are quite analytical so they require quite extensive preparation...
It would not be possible for me to give detail of specific chapters from dutt and Sundaram...But u please refer the core sectors from that book...
also refer to the notes of Vaji Ram and also Sriram..they might supplement to ur preparation...
once u have thoroughly prepared any topic then also look for the questions that have been asked in G.S. paper & also in Economics mains paper of Civil Services, Indian Economic service Exam on that topic...this will broaden ur perspective about a topic and it will help in shaping the rough edges in ur preparation....

Hello Mr. Abhijeet,
Firstly hearty congratulations on your feat.
I have a question... can you please tell me from where can we prepare topics like phase transitions, first order, second order, lambda transitions. I have seen questions from these topics in previous year question papers. It will be of great help if you can guide in this regard.
Thanks and Regards,
Aarti

Abhijeet Agrawal said...

@ Aarti....The question of phase transitions that had appeared in 2001 chemistry mains exam, can be prepared from Physical Chemistry by Atkins, K.L.Kapoor...i also had added a few diagrams from a Physics book named:
Thermodynamics by Garg, Bansal and Ghosh...

hi abhijeet,
i am taking chemistry and public administration as my optionals. chemistry has a negative impact in relation to finding pre. years paper, books, notes and guidance, but i have consulted DIAS COACHING CENTRE for chem. is it will be good for me to join? plz help me in this matter bcz classes r going to be start on 12 nov. but vajiram classes are starting from 17 oct. and also i have a time clash in my sub. at both coaching centre. it will be too late if i will deposit my fees there. one person in jia sarai told me about ur notes r available on net. thnx for such a valuable help to provide ur best effort for candidates like us.

Abhijeet Agrawal said...

@ davendra
See its up to you to join coaching for Chemistry or not...it depends on ur level of preparation....see it is not something compulsory to join coaching for subject....any way coaching just enforces some discipline....in science subjects you will have to put lot of efforts even after u join coaching...i have also uploaded my notes on my blog so u may get benefited from there......so all the best for preparation....
reg G.S. also you can join Vaji Ram or even Sriram, both are good....

INDIA-BANGLADESH RELATIONS

India and Bangladesh, neighbors for 4,000 kilometers, share a strong bond from their joint fight for independence, especially during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. This history turned into a solid partnership involving culture, economy, and diplomacy. Recent efforts like the Maitree Express and Integrated Check Post show growing economic teamwork. Agreements like the Ganges Water Sharing Treaty highlight joint commitment to resource sustainability. Despite challenges, the India-Bangladesh relationship remains strong, supporting stability and progress in South Asia.
